Fantastic 4's Sue Storm, When She's Visible

What's a pretty girl to do when she looks Fantastic and is not up for using her power of invisibility? We asked Sue Storm that question for this article.

JW: So what's a figure like you do when she's not busy saving the world?

SS: Mostly I try to rest up for the next action sequence. I do a lot of Yoga and bland smiling. It helps keep the laugh lines to a minimum.

JW: You remind us of an actress we've seen recently on TV and in movies.

SS: You must be thinking of Jessica Alba. People say we look a lot alike.

JW: Just how flexible are you?

SS: Well, you've seen me do Yoga. My hips are a bit unconventional by JoeWorld standards, with cut joints rather than ball joints. Even so I can get into a lot of good poses. I've got double jointed knees and elbows, cut joints at glove top and boot top, two cut joints in each upper leg, a cut joint at the abdomen, hinged wrists and ankles, and a funky ball and socket with rotation for each shoulder.

JW: What would you say distinguishes you from other figures out there?

SS: Well, I'm molded in my jumpsuit, so nobody gets to see me naked. Having said that, I do have a pretty buff behind.

Getting to the Bottom of Things

JW: Is there anybody special in your life?

SS: Well, there's not much time for socializing when you're saving the world and making movies, but I hang out on the web with friends.
