Sadly there seems to be less and less 1/6th at Toy Fair each year, one of the standouts was the Merit International Limited booth, where I saw and photographed some of the new bbi, Ignite and Twisting Toyz items, as well as attempt to obtain some info about some of these product lines. I also ran into Anthony Chin, the president of Merit, unfortunately he was tight lipped about most new releases, but it does sound like we will be seeing some very nice items in the future from the companies listed below.
Twisting Toyz:
Twisting Toyz really looks to be solidifying the 1/6th WW2 Italian Market and had all their releases on display (except"Ermanno"). It was announced they will be making a new figure named 'Gianni," an Italian Machine Gunner from Nettuno 1944, as well as "Ermanno" Nembo Para Rome 44. I saw and photographed Ermanno's samurai vest, smock, hemet and hand grenades and musts say they look very nice. Also viewed the Alpine trooper and Bersglieri, which both look to be excellent releases as well. It is nice to see we will be getting some variety of weaponry from Twisting Toyz as well. One not on the Bersligeri "Luca," on the production version he will come with brown ammo pouches as opposed to the gray.

Blue Box Toys:
Blue Box only had one brand new item on display a U.S. Army 10th Mountain Trooper with M4 Carbine/shotgun, as well as their other releases which are currently available. According to Mr. Chin, bbi will be getting back into 1/6th this year, releasing a fair number of figures, including WW2, Modern and Cy Girls.
Ignite:
The only new product on display from Ignite was the Roman Standard Bearer.
