Packaged in a reproduction long box with outstanding graphics, this figure really stands out on display.  The bright orange background coloring and the crisp graphics applied to the box art is yet another fine example of the heart that the club puts into their figures released.  The box sides are adorned with artwork of previous club released figures and convention exclusives.  The original artwork also features the message “35 Years of Adventure” emblazoned under the graphic.  Previous released figures have “30 Years of Adventure” written on the packaging.  (Has it really been five years since we were first introduced to the club exclusive AT figures?)

Inside the box was the updated paperwork reflecting the “35 years”, boot removal instructions and the now famous enamel pin.  This pin features the classic 6-wheeled AT ATV likeness and really is top notch. 

The figure itself is another excellent representation with every detail meticulously reproduced to the highest degree.  The flocking is possibly the best to date on any figure issued from the club.  The face is clean with a fantastic likeness to the original sculpt. 

The figure comes with an updated AT chrome dog tag on bead chain.  35 Years of Adventure has replaced the previous examples from the preceding line.  The uniform is a dead-on color match to my original vintage example I have in my collection.  The shirt is a two snap closure version with two buttoned pockets and the trousers are single snap, no pocketed variety.  The material is a little thinner than the vintage cloth but does not distract from the over-all appearance of the figure.  Short black boots and a black shoulder holster with revolver round out the ensemble.

A new body mold is being used on the figure.  I am speculating that it is the 40^th mold.  To me it was difficult to tell because the darker plastic accents the molding in a greater detail that the standard caucasian figure.  One thing I did notice is the wrist pins and ankle pins were also molded in the AA color. 

Previous figures were released with some problems that the club addressed.  From flocking to weaponry, there were additional pieces mailed to satisfy the club faithful.  I am happy to say, this figure nailed it right out of the gate.  With the exception of being a little loose in the hips, this figure is rearing to go on his first expedition. 

Time will tell what the next installment will be from the club.  One can only speculate at this point but with the addition of this AA sculpt, another chapter can be written and void filled.  (Can you say Talking AA Commander?)
